The typical Corsican knife, proudly made with Zuria brothers, Corsican knife makers from Bonifacio (southern Corsica).
Size & weight : 12cm folded, 21.5 cm open, approx 95 g.
Handle : Real pre-ban tortoiseshell , 4 -5 mm thick
Blade : 176 layers forged Carbon steel , made by blacksmith François Morier (Switzerland). Hardness : 54Hrc. Stainless Damascus is also available (see options)
Spring & bladestop :The spring is made from a 3mm thick stainless steel Z20c13. A solid bladestop is provided on all of our springs : that shall keep a long time the edge of the blade. Instead of the traditional solid bee and forged into the spring you'll see the embossing of the Corsica Island . The whole spring is hand chased with a file.
Plates :solid Stainless steel bolsters 1,2 mm .
Assembling: traditional hand made nickelsilver rivets.
Included : numbered guarantee certificate, simple leather pouch.
