Size and weight : 12cm folded, 21.5cm open, approx. 100 grams.
Handle : Stabilized Amboina burl . Traditionnal shepherd's cross inlay.
Blade :  "Wave" stainless Damascus steel from Sweden, 3 mm thick .  Hardness: 56 Hrc.
Spring :   The ' Bee 'spring is made from 3 mm thick stainless steel Z20c13.  A solid bladestop is used in all of our springs.  That helps maintain the edge of the blade.  The traditional bee is solid and forged into the spring. The spring (including below the screw) and bee are then hand-chased with a file :  This denotes artisan quality, unlike inexpensive mass market products that have welded springs and are machine decorated.  These details create a unique Laguiole knife, making each knife one of a kind.   
Corkscrew:  The corkscrew has five rings, 8mm diameter and made of hardened and polished stainless steel.  It is easy to open and glides into any type of cork.
