"Walker" Model : Forged and chased Shell, large shepherd's cross, 5 rosary's rings, Sun on the blade.
Size and weight : 12cm folded, 21.5cm open, approx. 90 grams.
Handle : Real cow bone, 8 mm thick scales.
Blade : Stainless 12c27 steel from Sweden, 3mm thick. Hardness : 56 Hrc.We also offer a 60Hrc hardenned special RWL34 swedish powder stainless steel for those who love knives with a longer sharp edge.
Spring : The spring is made from 3mm thick stainless steel Z20c13. A solid bladestop is used in all of our springs. That helps maintain the edge of the blade. The traditional bee has been changed into a solid and forged shell hand-chased with a file. This denotes artisan quality, unlike inexpensive mass market products that have welded springs and are machine decorated. These details create a unique Laguiole knife, making each knife one of a kind.
Plates and Bolsters :1.2mm thick stainless steel with 2 solid bolsters. Brass is also available (see options).
