Handle: 1st choice patterned walnut ( gun-stock selection), 8 mm slabs.  Traditionnal "shepherd's cross" inlay.
Blade : Swedish Stainless 12c27 Sandvik steel, 3 mm thick
Hardness : 56 Hrc. We also offer a 60Hrc hardenned special RWL34 swedish powder stainless steel for those who love knives with a longer sharp edge.
Spring : The spring is made from a 3mm thick stainless steel Z20c13. A solid bladestop is provided on all of our springs : that shall keep a long time the edge of the blade. The traditionnal bee is solid, and forged into the spring. The whole spring & bee are then hand chased with a file, including below the screw.
We do never use the cheap mass product welded springs or industrially decorated. That makes each of our Laguiole knives one of a kind.
Plates & bolsters : 1,2 mm thick stainless steel with 2 solid bolsters. You can also choose brass (see options) at the same price
Corkscrew : 5 rings , 8 mm diam, hardenned and polished stainless steel. We proudly say that our corkscrews are easy to open & and can definitly open any kind of nice wine :-)
Assembling :traditional, hand made rivets.
Included : numbered guarantee certificate , simple leather pouch.
