Blade : Swedish twist stainless Damascus steel, 160 layers, 3 mm thick . Hardness : 56Hrc. Very rare material : all orders will be acknowledged & confirmed by 2 e-mails. 
Spring : The spring is made from a 3mm thick stainless steel Z20c13. A solid bladestop is provided on all of our springs : that shall keep a long time the edge of the blade. The traditionnal bee is solid, and forged into the spring. The whole spring & bee are then hand chased with a file. This denotes artisan quality, unlike inexpensive mass market products that have welded springs and are machine decorated. These details create a unique Laguiole knife, making each knife one of a kind.
