Weight & Size : 12cm folded, 21.5 cm open, approx. 100 g
Handle: Real cow horn tip , 8 mm scales.
Blade : Swedish Twist Damascus Stainless steel, 160 layers, 3 mm thick. Hardness : 56 Hrc.
Spring : The spring is made from a 3mm thick stainless steel Z20c13. A solid bladestop is provided on all of our springs : that shall keep a long time the edge of the blade. The traditionnal bee is solid, and forged into the spring. The whole spring & bee are then hand chased with a file. This denotes artisan quality, unlike inexpensive mass market products that have welded springs and are machine decorated. These details create a unique Laguiole knife, making each knife one of a kind.
Plates & bolsters : Ram bolster, made from real Sterling solid 800/1000 silver foundry on 1,2 mm thick stainless steel
Assembling : traditional, hand made silvernickel rivets.
Included : numbered guarantee certificate , simple leather pouch.
