Handle: Real Warthog Tooth:  This is a great alternative to ivory.  We use an entire tooth for each knife.  The Warthog handle may display some natural and stabilized "defects" which help create the item's beauty.
Blade : Swedish Sandvik 12c27 Stainless steel, 3 mm thick . Hardness : 56 Hrc.We also offer a 60Hrc hardenned special RWL34 swedish powder stainless steel for those who love knives with a longer sharp edge.
Spring : The spring is made from a 3mm thick stainless steel Z20c13. A solid bladestop is provided on all of our springs : that shall keep a long time the edge of the blade. The traditionnal bee is solid, and forged into the spring. The whole spring & bee are then hand chased with a file. This denotes artisan quality, unlike inexpensive mass market products that have welded springs and are machine decorated. These details create a unique Laguiole knife, making each knife one of a kind.
Plates & bolsters : Wild boar, made from real Sterling solid 800/1000 silver foundry on 1,2 mm thick stainless steel
Assembling : traditional, hand made silvernickel rivets.
Included : numbered guarantee certificate , simple leather pouch.
