Handle : Yew tree. This rare wood has been taken from the Chateau de Versailles ( Versailles castle) trees fallen after 1999 storm. a part of the amount of the knife is given to the Chateau's garden. 
Grand Cru model : In all Grand Cru models, the joint between the spiral and the handle is re-inforced. For a few more euros than the standard versions, you will get a more sturdy corkscrew.
