Do you know our brand new knife: “Le Thiers® Gentleman“, technical knife isn’t it?
Le Thiers® : a collective daring challenge
A paradox gave birth to this knife: Thiers, the Capital of French Cutlery, has a six-century knife experience gained in knife manufacturing. the city, as well as the surrounding moutain hamlets manufactured various types of regional knives and products for exports. Amoug them, for instance, “Laguiole”, “L’Aurillac”, “Le Normand”, “L’yssingeaux”….still being manufactured there in Thiers area, their names referring to regions. Strangely enough, the craftsmen of Thiers area had never claimed a common identity throught an emblematic knife. Out of that commaon remark, came the idea of creating Le Thiers®, an emblematic knife, fruit of a collective brainstorming.
